To solve this problem, using a scanner with suitable IDS software & 2 coded (PATS) ingition keys, you do a PATS Parameter Reset for instrument cluster & ECU I was informed that when replacing the instrument panel or ECU or both, it is the immobilser which causes the engine not to start. The re-coding of the instrument cluster can be done yourself which a good scanner & IDS software ! On connects from 2006 to present, the immobiliser is part of the instrument cluster - Hence why they require re-coding when replaced.
